Lola has a very distinct look: few knobs with some pink and brown color variance. It is dense with a mild, classic artichoke flavor. The tubers are medium in size and produced in large quantities. This is one of the most productive sunchokes we grow. These cluster type sunchokes like Lola along with their compact growth habit make them a more desirable plant for places that you don't want them to runner outwards. The flavor is mild and is very good raw in the spring. In some soils, the color will be more red.
(Ships dormant in spring and fall from Oct. to Dec.and again March to May.) If sold out in the spring or there is a short crop , your order will automatically fall ship in October.
