This seed was a win in a horticulture auction for me when I was visiting in New York many years ago. We grew out a small plot of it here in Michigan where we selected from the most vigorous stalks and full ears. We removed the weakest plants before flowering and kept the most robust healthy plants which then ended up being the individual plants with good yields as well. This is well known selection of white corn know for its delicious white meal plus it is easily grown in short season areas. Ripens in 80-90 days.

If you can keep the racoons out, this selection is worth growing. Drying was uniform and the large kernels came off the cobb easily. In the milk stage the flavor was not bad either but a little paste like. |
