This large white cucumber is an heirloom selection reselected to have more mildew resistance on the leaves and well as vigor. The plants produce large 6 inch plus white cucumbers with a pure white skin. Ripens starting in early August for us direct from seed planted in May.
Lightly cover with soil. The seeds will sprout in 3-4 days. We grew these on a trellis at first to keep the cucumbers clean looking and easy to harvest.

Prefers a rather sandy dry soil but will tolerate a wide range of soil types. This is a vigorous selection and can easily be trellised to obtain perfectly shaped cucumbers with a very pure white coloration. They really stand out plus have a delicious mild flavor. No disease or insect issues with some cucumber beetles but nothing that overwhelmed the plants to any degree. |
