This tomato was found as a chance population in Texas that has the ability to self perpetuate. When we grew it, we found it three years later hanging out under our oak trees. The small 1 inch fruits do not crack. The plant has long stems with thick bulbous type joints that seem to aid the plant in fighting drought and increasing rooting as the plants creep along the ground. We have grown other wild and this one is consistently good and high yielding. 65-70 days
