Its beauty is found in its graceful branches and delicate foliage resistant to deer browse. Our seed planting created a seed strain now called, “American Beauty” which is a slight selection of seedlings that have grown well at our farm with no winter damage and good growth form. This is not the dwarf forms found in the nursery trade today. Grown from seed from a genetically mixed population is the best way for this wonderful evergreen tree. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1286,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[26],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1285"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1285"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1285\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1289,"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1285\/revisions\/1289"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1286"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1285"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1285"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/oikostreecrops.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1285"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
